Saints For Sinners Mater Dolorosa
The “Sorrowful Mother,” or Mater Dolorosa, is one of the most replicated and famous images known in Roman Catholic art and iconography. The Virgin Mary is typically portrayed clasping her hands, perhaps in prayer, and looking up at the face of her Son, Jesus, the Heavenly Father, or both. Mater Dolorosa has lived to see her only son crucified for all men so that sins will be forgiven and we all be brought to Everlasting Life. Pray to Our Lady of Sorrows, patroness of enlightenment and reconciliation, for comfort in times of sadness.
All medals are unique and one of a kind. Colorway will vary.
