Saints For Sinners Our Lady Of Perpetual Succor Hand Painted Medallion
In 13th Century Byzantine style, Our Lady of Perpetual Succor is a painting on wood showing the Mother of God holding the Divine Child while the Archangels Michael and Gabriel hover above. Our Lady was brought to Rome at the end of the 15th Century and was presented to the public at the Church of San Matteo. When the church was destroyed, it was believed the painting was lost but it was providentially discovered at the Oratory of Augustinian Fathers in Maria in Posterula. In the United States, Our Lady of Perpetual Succor is venerated but better known as “Our Lady of Perpetual Help.” Pray to Our Lady in times of need—just like her name claims, she will always be there for help!
All medals are unique and one of a kind. Colorway will vary.
