Saints For Sinners Saint Augustine Hand Painted Medal
Saint Augustine of Hippo is known as the patron saint of Africa. He began his life in a wayward way and became a wanderer with little regard of Christianity, much to his mother Saint Monica’s chagrin. At a certain point, she felt like rejecting him, but a wise bishop remarked, “the son of so many tears could not perish.” Saint Augustine found a righteous path and ultimately wrote the masterpiece “Confessions.” St. Augustine Church, located in New Orleans, is known as the first church in the United States to have welcomed free people of color.
All medals are unique and one of a kind. Colorway will vary.
