Saints For Sinners St Ann Hand Painted Medallion
Saint Ann, the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is known as the patron saint of mothers, stepmothers, motherly figures, and grandmothers. On her medal, Ann is shown teaching the Blessed Virgin Mary how to read. A book is in Saint Ann’s lap. She is often mentioned as a patron saint of literacy, reading, and in New Orleans, WRBH Radio, “Reading Radio for the Blind and Reading Impaired.”
