Saints For Sinners St. Phillip Neri Hand Painted Medallion
Saint Philip Neri, a friend of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, is known as a practical joker and also the founder of the Confraternity of the Most Holy Trinity. Philip’s preaching was so popular in Europe that Pope Gregory XIV wanted to make him a Cardinal, though Philip turned down the offer out of humility. As he grew older, Philip experienced many illnesses, all of which were healed by prayer. Pray to Saint Philip Neri, patron of practical jokers, comedians, and humorists, for gratitude, ease with words, or, to be “the life of the party!”
