Each original painting is hand-built of tin and treated re-purposed wood. Painted to look like a traditional canvas, these works of art are sealed and outdoor-safe, perfect for your wrap-around porch! Sizes range from approximately 20″ x16″ to 26″ x16″. Slight variations in size and color should be expected due to the hand-made nature of these pieces. Pictures are intended as examples; we will contact you before charging your card regarding in-stock colors or to arrange a special order for a custom painting from Brandi in the colors of your choice. Please allow 2 – 4 weeks for these special orders.
Brandi Rollins of Toodle Lou Designs is a home-grown southern artist. A Mississippi artist, living surrounded by the beauty of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the Louisiana Swamps, the Southern heat, the towering oak trees, and the thundering call of locust have been, and forever will be, a part of her heart. Here in the South she is constantly engulfed with inspiration.
She has played many roles in her lifetime, but being an Artist is her true calling. Brandi has been a Teacher, a Grocery Store Cashier, a Professional Snoball Creator, a Fashion Stock Person, a Marine Biologist’ Assisstant’s Assistant, an Interior Designer, a Graphic Designer, a Boutique owner/manager, a Merchandiser, and an Artist/Creator of Things. She has an Associates degree in Business from Pearl River Community College and a Bachelors’ Degree in Fine Arts from William Carrey University.
Now that Brandi is focused, her works of art include Acrylic paintings, Pastel drawings, Fabric creations, Jewelry, Clay pieces, Mixed Media and more. The main focus is trying to catch that “slowed-down Southern feeling that is always connected to Nature and our ever evolving heritage”.
